The art that’s featured in this blog is by Eric Shaw, A 26 year old artist apart of the Island folds company. An independent publisher and artist residency located on the West Coast of Canada. The company mainly publishes extremely dreamy cartoonists. Not dreamy as in handsome hunks but the artwork it self is dreamy with tons of color and strange designs that are used to add feeling and also the shapes that are used to emphasize the expressions. Eric Shaw’s art caught my eye with his extreme use of color and the way he pays close attention to lines and details which without a doubt is inspiring.
