Natalie Bork's Liquid Sky Gallery

Natalie Bork was a friend and classmate of mine while I attended Winthrop. Since our graduation, she has excelled at being both a teacher and a practicing artist. She teaches at Charlotte Country Day School. I am particularly interested in her art.

Her distinct series of works are attestations of disciplined approaches to investigating self-expression. Each of these images are samples from her different series of works.

I am fascinated by her Control/Chaos series that she describes as containing:
...strong horizontal line(s) that are juxtaposed with loose, thick pallet knife marks that suggests landscapes. These subteties of subject matter and limited color pallet an intimate dialogue to transpire between the painting and the viewer.

Click the title of this post or Liquid Sky Gallery to visit her site and see all of her works.
