de gas

i really enjoy his work as far as him paiting dancers because i know as a dancer it isnt easy to do the move so it must be a little difficult to draw and paint. he just seems to have this amazing attention to detail with the hands and placement of the arms in certain positions. im entirely sure what it is but i love his work of the dancers.

  1. Edgar Degas (born Edgar de Gas) is most known for his ballet dancers. He did many Impressionist paintings but is also known for a sculpture titled "The Little Dancer of Fourteen Years" in which he used wax to cast bronze. He was one of many artists who studied under Ingres. He also somewhat claimed by New Orleans, LA as he spent a little bit of time there.
