Winthrop University Galleries will kick off the fall 2009 semester with a Friday, Sept. 18, opening reception to celebrate two new exhibitions, "The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Faculty Exhibition" and "Recent Paintings and Works on Paper" by artist Kirk Fanelly. The 6:30-8 p.m. reception is free and open to the public with free parking on campus.
