Yorkville Artists’ Guild
We are excited to announce that the Yorkville Artists’ Guild will be hosting a High School Student Art Show at the Arts Council of York County. This will be the second year and with your help it will be a huge success again. This letter contains information about the guidelines for this exhibition. Please read carefully and follow all instructions.
The show will be juried by a panel of judges associated with the Yorkville Artists’ Guild. The three top winners will receive cash prizes;
1st Place - $250, 2nd Place - $150, and 3rd Place - $100. Several honorable mention awards will be given to other exemplary student work.
All entries must be 2-dimensional and mounted or matted with at least a 2 inch border. (Please use black, white or neutral colors when matting or mounting work. This will add sophistication and cohesiveness to the show.)
Any Visual Art Teacher at a
may enter up to five student artworks. York County High School
Please fill out a label and attach to the back of the artwork at the bottom right hand corner of each entry.
Artwork must be delivered to the Arts Council of York County no later than November 18th at 6:00 pm. Artworks may be dropped off earlier. (Office hours are: Mon – Thurs 9-6 and Friday 9-5.)
Exhibition dates: November 23rd – December 31st
Opening Reception: December 3rd, 7-8pm Center for the Arts
Awards will be presented at this event.
