Lifelike Statues

Ron Mueck, born in Australia 1958,  is a sculptor who renders exceedingly detailed, lifelike statues of people. He started out making puppets for kid's TV, including a stint with Sesame Street. Since 1996 he has devoted himself to sculpting. His early work was mostly done with fiberglass, but he is starting to use silicone for his art.
