Since hurricane Sandy; New York has had homeless people, shut down transportation, but also art galleries ruined. In West Chelsea in Manhattan there has been water-logged artwork and and flooded storage facilities. Almost all the art work is in any good usage anymore. The Museum of Modern Art's even had major water damage to it, which was more art work ruined.
