AP Art First Summer Assignment

This is my first summer piece, I choose the architecture prompt. I used charcoal on sketchbook paper. It's a drawing of a lock on a gate at the neighborhood pool. I made it where it looked cut open and drew kind of what I thought the inside would be like.

    I really enjoy the linear quality of this work as well as they way you've rendered value. I do feel that the work, however, is incomplete.

    Please remember that these assignments are something you may potentially turn in with your portfolio as "Quality" but must be finished pieces outside of a sketchbook. Let me know if you have any questions about the assignments. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of you work!
