The work of Michelle Caplan is the main inspiration for my second portfolio. She is a mixed media artist in California who creates collages using screen prints and vintage photographs. As you can see to the left, Caplan dyes poetry and novels pages and incorporates them into the pieces. Her pieces present a unquiely nostalgic mood.
