So I just found this and it's really cool. This guy makes life size sculptures of people and then puts them under the waters of South America so, in time, the statues become artificial reefs.

This has to be my absolute favorite modern work. I'm a big fan of the dynamic aspect and how the work will continue to change. In a sense, the artist is forever working. I can't imagine how people of the future might interpret these pieces. Also makes me wonder how much we misinterpret what we find buried in ancient cities.
