Fibonacci Sequence: Tool- Lateralus

I decided to post this after someone asked me if I was going to. It seemed like a good idea.

For those unfamiliar, this is the Tool song that illustrates the Fibonacci sequence using rhythm and lyrics. It also offers a message on creativity based on not living in a straight line.

I'm still having a difficult time getting over this video and concept. This has become a part of my future teachings on compositional design. It seemed that most of you enjoyed it, but I could have been fooled. Comments?

  3. That video was sooooo AWESOME!!! I loved the song the most mainly because it went really well with the pix from the Hubble Space Telescope. The video was beautiful. Oh yeah, the Fibonacci thing was cool too. Basically because it was integrated into to music, and music has probably the biggest influence on me more than anything else.
