I chose this painting because I really liked how well you could see the brush strokes.
I also liked how half of the painting seemed warm and welcoming while the other half almost seems cold and lonely, but in the middle is a cute couple. This painting was done by Leonid Afremov.

    I agree. I really love how you can see the brush strokes. I also really like the artists use of reflection on the sidewalk. It really makes the painting come to life, I think.
