Encaustic Painting

Encaustic painting, or hot wax painting, is a technique of applying pigmented, heated beeswax to a surface, usually prepared wood. This workshop will introduce participants to the ancient technique of encaustic painting and use modern methods to experiment with textures and effects. Each participant will work on their own panel.
Registration is required and space is limited.
Cost covers all materials.
