Welcome Rock Hill area art students

This blog was created to allow casual conversations about the artwork that you have created and the artists who have influenced you. This will be an excellent place for you to display your art images and share your reactions. We can also share information about upcoming art events.

Online Art Applications

In addition to Gimp (the open-source, free-ware Photoshop), I've recently come across the following other applications that you may wish to experiment with:

SumoPaint.com-- no need to log in; just click button.  This saves in layers and you can upload your own photos.

Harmony located at http://mrdoob.com/projects/harmony -- just start drawing with your mouse, taking advantage of the different styles and brushstrokes (esp. grid).

Odosketch--  something you may also want to try; again, no need for logging in.

Special thanks to Teachers20.com
